This bespoke low table was specifically designed for the Coryton family, who own the beautiful Pentillie Castle situated in Cornwall, UK.
The English Oak, from which the piece was fabricated, came directly from the ancient woodlands that surround the castle. We at KOOS love that this piece will sit only a few hundred meters from where the tree originally stood.
The beautiful and luxurious Burr Oak centre-piece is completely unique and makes this piece truly one of a kind.
The Burr Oak surface is surrounded by a subtly patterned, but equally beautiful, solid English Oak frame which sits upon a custom designed under frame that has modern design elements to give the piece a lightness and elegance. Finally, five handcrafted oak slats create a shelf on which a reading book can be placed. The table will be used by guests enjoying afternoon tea at the Castle.
